Synopsis

When therapist Dr. Leonard Stern (Kevin Pollak) finds out he has six weeks to live, he adopts a fresh method of treatment: brutal honesty.

Rob's writing/directing debut, Our Time Is Up, received an Oscar Nomination for Best Live Action Short Film for the 78th Academy Awards. He has sold screenplays to Universal Pictures, Focus Features and Working Title Films as well as television pilots to NBC, FOX, ABC, Jerry Bruckheimer Television, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers and Lorne Michael's Broadway Video Productions. Rob has also written episodes for the NBC series Medium and the Fox series The Inside. Previously, Rob wrote TV commercials and print and radio ads for agencies like TBWA Chiat/Day, Fallon, BBDO, Deutsch and MTV.

Rob lives in L.A. and New York.

Pia Clemente
Producer

Pia Clemente produced Our Time Is Up, which received an Oscar ® Nomination for Best Live Action Short Film for the 78th Academy Awards ®. In 2000, Pia was the staff producer at Orbit Productions, a commercial production company. After Orbit, she became a freelancer working on commercial campaigns for Volkswagen, Sears, Carl's Jr., and Mandalay Bay. Among her film credits, Pia was the line producer for the Filipino-American film The Debut.

Pia received her M.F.A. at the American Film Institute. For undergrad, she attended Barnard College, Columbia University, where she produced Christmas in New York, which won an Academy Award for Dramatic Short Student Film, 1997. Pia was born in Manila, Philippines, and her family immigrated to New Jersey when she was three years old. She has been calling Los Angeles home for the past 10 years.

Loren Mendell
Producer

Loren Mendell produced Our Time Is Up, which received an Oscar ® Nomination for Best Live Action Short Film for the 78th Academy Awards ®. He is currently producing and directing the feature documentary Bad Boys of Summer, a grant-winning film about the inmate baseball team at San Quentin prison.

Loren's previous credits include Cockfight, the award-winning film about the underground world of rooster fighting, as well as projects for ABC, MTV, Discovery, History Channel, A&E, and PBS. Loren earned his B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania and his M.F.A. at the University of Southern California's graduate school of cinema-television.
